Zobo is back! In very uncertain times when the cost of living is spiralling and the world is getting more and more crazy each day. I am leaving it in the hands of our wonderful customers as to whether there is still a place for us or not. There are humanitarian crises happening in far too many corners of the world. The world economy is resting in some untrusting and terrifying hands. And the pinching of our wallets is a very real thing. So to be in this moment, re-launching what can only be described as a luxury item, is an uncertain thing. Our ethos however remains the same and is ever more important now - to bring some joy, colour and happiness to our homes and souls.
Like many other businesses we have been struggling with the supply chain and with increasing prices. In turn we have had no choice but to increase the prices of both our fabrics and wallpapers. We understand that choosing a Zobo design is a big commitment and we will work with you to provide the surest service we can.
Many of our designs are new, but the favourites that have returned have been re-named to tie in with our new theme and all of our collections are now named after places I have visited and felt inspired by. Browsing the website is as much a travel guide as it is a search for the perfect textile.
Thank you all so much for your support over the years, particularly the last 6 months. Taking time out to care for mum was a special gift I will always feel truly blessed to have been able to do. She died with her daughters, grandchildren and the dogs she adored with her through the final few months. It was an intense time and only in the grief afterward did I really realise the worry the last years of her illness had weighed on my soul. It is both lighter and heavier now at the same time.
