BLUES
In the home blue is the most versatile of colours - perhaps that's why it is a firm favourite alongside the neutrals.
It has a calming effect for the soul - reducing stress and anxiety and creating a sense of tranquility. It can also aid sleep so whilst many people suggest to keep this space neutral and clean in my mind a blue room can create the perfect ambiance of a night sky blocking out the light and inducing a peaceful nights sleep.
Blue skies and blue oceans bring peace and solace. Add a little sandy yellow and coral pink and you'll have your perfect memory of a calming beach holiday!
