SLEEP
IDEAL FOR: bedrooms, bathrooms, conservatories, any space where you want to calm your mind
For many people keeping a clean, simple colour palette is important in the bedroom, avoiding too many distractions with an overload of pattern and colour. Neutral tones are always a calming influence but also blues are known to aid sleep. Blue also has a clean effect that can help clear muddle from our minds and encourage peace and rest.
That said, what aids sleep is very personal and whilst the psychologists may advise on a clear and decluttered space, for me, creating a cosy nest of warmth and safety is my hibernating bliss.
