PINKS AND REDS
Red is a strong and positive colour. It builds energy and is full of warmth. It is perfect for an active room - a kitchen or a gym. It makes food taste better and people feel happy. It may not be relaxing but it is an intimate colour so would create a wonderfully rich snug area too.
Red is also associated with anger and if this concerns you add pink - as a tint of red it carries all the same positive attributes but is known to diffuse confrontation not create it, it is a softer tone and can bring out the warmth in red when used together.
